AUGUST 04,2007 VISITING GELANGGANG UTAMA SILAT SETIABAKTI

 

August 04,2007 Pendekar off Z.A.D.D  went visiting to Gelanggang Utama Kanchan Tirana in Ulu Klang. Gelanggang Kanchan Tirana better known as Akademi Silat Setiabakti is the Main Centre for Seni Silat Setiabakti. Gradings are performed in the presence of Guru Utama Dahlan Karim and other Instructors at this Akademi. This visitataion is one of Z.A.D.D activities for its students. This is to strenghten the bond between gelanggangs of the Silat Setiabakti and its practitioners.Here Guru Dahlan is showing some pointers on Silat Setiabakti  and training done at the Gelanggang Utama by Pendekar of Z.A.D.D. The day ended with a Keris Presentation from Gelanggang Beladiri & Tempur Z.A.D.D to Guru Utama Dahlan Karim, the founder of Perguruan Seni Silat Setiabakti. 

2007-12-18 SUBANG JAYA RECREATIONAL LAKESIDE PARK

Occationally silat training is done away from the ZADD Gelanggang and to any recreational area around Subang Jaya. Here are some practitioner as early as the age of 6 yrs old taking part in the 'outdoor' training.  

     

   

DEC 09,2007 Attending AL HIKMAH INTENSIVE

  

Selected seniors of ZADD will attend some intensive courses by the Akademi Silat Setiabakti from time to time. This is to prepare the seniors on more advance techniques taught in Silat.

December 30,2007 ADVANCE INTENSIVE COURSE

Advance Training  at Akademi Silat Setiabakti for ZADD Seniors attended the Intensive Hikmah Program.

   

FEB 09,2008 GRADING FOR ZADD PENDEKARS

First ZADD grading for practitioners of Seni Tongkat Setiabakti. 9 pendekar took part in this grading and had passed all test by the Guru Utama Dahlan Karim. Article on this grading was published in the Majalah Seni Beladiri.

NOV 11,2008 GRADING FOR ZADD ( MONASH UNIVERSITY & SUNWAY UNIVERSITY )

Second grading function for ZADD practitioners (Monash Silat Club & Sunway University ZADD Pendekar) took place at the Akademi Silat Setiabakti. This grading was also published in the Majalah Seni Beladiri (FEB 2009 Issue)

CAMPING ( MONASH & SUNWAY UNIVERSITY )

Camping was held for the practitioners to expose them to outdoor training session. The ground was selected after a two hours hike deep into the jungle of KEMENSAH.
